Troublesome Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc.

Goals and Purposes

*   To provide a humane rescue service for mistreated, abused, neglected, injured,unwanted, and surrendered equine animals

*   To provide traditional and non-traditional rehabilitation, medical care, food and shelter for equine animals in need of such care and to re-introduce the rescued equines to herd and human socialization

*   To obtain legal ownership of rescued equine animals and provide appropriate adoption services for the rescued animals

*   To develop a retirement community for senior horses in order to provide comfort during their later years

*   To provide overnight accommodations for horses, monthly boarding and riding facilities to members of the community and surrounding areas

*   To provide support for local agencies in establishing procedures for rescue of horses in need and area emergency evacuation plans
